Baked Pizza Pasta



This baked Pizza Pasta recipe is a family favorite. Flavorful pizza sauce tossed with rotini noodles, pizza toppings and melted cheese. Delicious and easy!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ tbsp onion powder
  • 3/8 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 ½ tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 2x 14-ounce jars pizza sauce
  • 1 ½ cups water
  • 1 box rotini pasta
  • 4 cups mozzarella cheese, divided use
  • 2 packs Hormel mini pepperonis, divided use
  • 1 pack Bridgford thick sliced pepperonis (need 35 total)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain well.
  2. Start preheating oven to 350F degrees
  3. In a large bowl, mix pizza sauce, water, and seasonings.
  4. Add to the bowl, cooked pasta, 2.5 cups mozzarella cheese, and most of the mini pepperonis, keep 44 out to place on top in between large pepperonis. Stir well.
  5. Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Pour in pasta mixture.
  6. Sprinkle with remaining 1½ cups of mozzarella cheese. Place thick slices on top, and mini slices in the spaces between them.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake at 350F for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove aluminum foil and bake for another 15 – 20 minutes (until cheese is fully melted)
